IRAIA is an acronym that currently stands for Iraia River Archive Is Alive. In previous lives, IRAIA meant Iraia Research and Information Archives, or Iraia Research and Indigenous Archives, and until recently, Iraia River Archives Is Alright. Maybe next year I'll rename it Iraia River Archive Is Afield or Iraia River Archive Inter Alia. Ok, I should stop fooling around.

This is the main IRAIA website, which is still under construction and operating in test mode. Once fully operative, it will serve as a portal to IRAIA's other websites, and as a multi-user platform for managing a broad range of content, but mostly along the lines of social, technical and scientific issues.
